How Does Game Share Work?
The Game Share team has worked hard to make swapping your games as easy as possible.
1. You add your games to your “Owned List”.
2. You add the games you wish to receive to your “Wish List”.
3. You use the “My Requests” page to make or accept offers with other members of the Game Share community.
4. Once a swap has been accepted by both members the processing fee is paid.
5. Both members send their games to Game Share within 7 days of acceptance of trade.
6. Game Share receives the games and visually inspects both games.
7. Provided both games match the descriptions previously given when trading, the games are then forwarded to their new owners.

Are all these games inspected?
All games are inspected to be in line with the condition stated when the game is listed in the members “Have list”. Members who send games that are not in the stated condition will not be returned and the processing fee will not be refunded. The other member will have their game returned and processing fee refunded. They will not be sent a game that is not up to standard or penalized in any way

Once an offer is accepted who sends their game first?
Both users send their games to GameShare as soon as they receive the details to do so. If one party does not send the game, GameShare will send you back your game and refund your processing fee. Members are required to send the game to GameShare within 10 days

Can I indicate the condition of my game?
When you add a game to your “have list” it is mandatory for all members to state the condition of their game. This is taken very seriously by Game Share as this can play in a large factor in trades been accepted.

How does Game Share know what address to send the games?
It is the user / member’s responsibility to ensure that the address details in their profile is completed and up to date at the time of the trade. This is the address that will be used by Game Share. In the event that a user doesn’t update their address and a game gets sent to an old address, Game Share accepts no responsibility for the game not being received.

What if a game goes missing?
Game Share always sends out the games using Registered Post and will always obtain the proof of postage. If a rare event that a game is lost in transit, Game Share will lodge a claim against Australia Post. Game Share cannot accept liability of games sent by members that are lost in the post. Game Share recommends using Registered Post when sending games to Game Share.

How long does a game take to reach you?
Once a game is processed it takes between 1 -4 working days depending on your location and whether it was sent by Registered Post or Express Post. (For further information check the Australia Post website at www.australiapost.com.au)


How long does it take to process a swap?
Game Share must receive all games in the trade for processing to begin and both members involved must have entered their postal address information in their profile to allow the trades to be sent. When processing is completed games are sent the same business day. We ask to allow 1 – 4 days for games to be received once Game Share sends the game. If the game is still not received 10 days after processing please contact Game Share so that a Missing Item claim may be lodged with Australia Post.

How does selling work?
The GameShare team has worked hard to make selling your games as easy as possible. Users add games to their wish list then they search for them games for sale and a list of games and their price including delivery is listed. Users pick the game they want to offer to buy and send a request the seller. Seller accepts the sale and the buyer is sent the PayPal details of the seller. The buyer makes the payment marks the game as “payment made” and the shipping details are sent to the seller to ship the game.

How do I list my game for Sale?
Simply add the games you want to sell to your “Owned List” and set the game emotion to “Want to sell” set the cost of the game including delivery. Make sure you have your PayPal account details setup in your profile.

When a sale is accepted when is payment made?
When a seller accepts the buyers request to purchase the game an email is sent to the buyer with the PayPal address of the seller. The buyer then goes to PayPal and makes the payment on the requested amount. Buyer should then mark the transaction as “Payment Sent” in their account on the website.

How does the seller know what address to send the game?
When a buyer marks the payment as sent an email is sent by the GameShare website advising the seller of the buyers address. Buyers need to make sure that their address details are up to date in their profile.

What if a game goes missing?
Unlike trades GameShare do not claim any responsibility in the transactions undertaken when selling occurs between two members. The seller is strongly advised to mail the game using registered post. This will protect the seller and buyer against any disputes as registered post items are insured up to the cost of $100. If a game has not been received in a acceptable time from when the payment was sent GameShare staff will contact the seller and if deemed necessary will forward the contact details of the seller to the buyer.

How long does a game take to reach you?
It depends on a few factors. Depending how quickly the user makes the payment and marks the game as “payment sent” via the website. The seller is recommended to send the game by standard registered post, postage usually takes 1 – 3 days. If the seller chooses to utilize Express Post, it should arrive the next working day.

Can I indicate the condition of my game?
